The A.W. Hodde, Jr., Technical Education Center marks an important partnership between education and local industries. This 12,000+ square foot state-of-the-art facility houses the most current programs and laboratories that will support the educational and training needs of the area well into the 21st century. The center will concentrate on program areas that focus on the current educational needs of Washington and surrounding counties. These six program areas will lead to career opportunities for entering workers, dislocated workers, or individuals seeking to make a career change.

The non-credit classes offered through the Office of Workforce Education at Blinn College are designed, both in subject and format, to fulfill the specific training needs for individuals, businesses and industry.
