Learn how to become a member of the Brenham EDF

The Brenham Economic Development Foundation is an independent 501(c)(6) non-profit organization, founded in 1953.  It began when local business leaders and individuals pooled their money together to purchase land and develop industrial parks for new and expanding industries. 

There are currently over 250 members of the Brenham Economic Development Foundation. Membership shares are sold for $50 each. You may choose to purchase one share, or one hundred. If you are interested in purchasing a share in the Brenham Economic Development Foundation and becoming a member, please contact the staff for more information. By becoming a member, you will join a group of people who believe in this community and have invested in its future.

Members are also entitled to one vote per share in the annual election of Board Directors.  Membership shares must be purchased prior to October 1 to be eligible for voting in that year's election.
