Brenham Parks & Recreation

The City of Brenham Park System includes three parks with kitchen facilities, barbeque pits, and covered pavilions plus playgrounds, basketball courts and tennis courts.

Brenham Golf & Country Club

The hilly, well-designed 18-hole golf course, along with a fine clubhouse, is a family-oriented club in Brenham.

Lake Somerville

Enjoy this 11,400-acre lake with 85 miles of shoreline just 14 miles north of Brenham. Many species of birds and other wildlife may be observed from several park areas. Great fishing for bass and catfish and a 21-mile trailway connects Birch Creek and Nails Creek State Parks where you can hike or ride horses.

Horseshoe Junction

Designed to entertain the young and young at heart. Miniature golf, bumper boats, go-cart track, arcade games, rock climbing wall and laser tag.

Family entertainment including roller skating, game room, dances, live entertainment, concerts.
